A TEA PARTY

We had a tea party for my staff to end the week's festivities of Associate Appreciation Week.  It was a nice surprise for them as we played dress up.

MARRIOTT'S ASSOCIATE APPRECIATION WEEK

Associate Appreciation Week started with passing out Liliha Bakery Cocoa Puffs to everyone.  What a great way to start Monday morning.
My staff received a cooler and we filled it up with healthy snacks everyday.

MARKET PLACE

Getting ready for the Hotel Charity Walk, we did a market place for the associates.  I had to grill ribs, hot dogs and hamburgers for two hours.  Talk about heat.

AHI. IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER

Charles caught the big one!  Twenty miles off the Waianae coast and after six hours of trolling, this 110 pound tuna finally bit the line.  It took Charles 20 minutes to reel her in.  The Ahi sashimi was sooo good.

BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS

We are back in the swing of things...work, Zumba and golf.  After the mini vacation, it was hard to get in the groove.  I need another vacation.

THE AFTERGLOW

After the Awards Dinner, we went to the Afterglow party at the Casa Magna Marriott next door to the JW Marriott.  There was more food, drinks and dancing.  The DJ was playing a lot of top 40 hits but then he threw on Celia Cruz' La Vida Es Un Carnaval that I do in Zumba classes.  I started doing my choreography and when i looked over my shoulder, a group of people were following me.  Just like the opening reception with te Cumbia songgs.
